First Visit

Your First Visit to District Dental Surgery

At District Dental Surgery, we want your first visit to be as comfortable, informative, and seamless as possible. From the moment you walk through our doors, our dedicated team will ensure you feel welcomed and well cared for.

What to Expect During Your Initial Appointment

Your journey with us begins with a warm greeting from our friendly reception staff, who will guide you through a streamlined check-in process. We understand that visiting a new dental practice can feel overwhelming, which is why we’ve designed every aspect of your experience with your comfort and peace of mind in mind.

During your comprehensive initial consultation, our experienced dental professionals will take the time to understand your unique oral health history, current concerns, and future goals. We believe in building lasting relationships with our patients, and this starts with truly listening to your needs and addressing any questions or anxieties you may have about dental care.

Thorough Assessment and Personalized Care

Your first visit includes a detailed examination using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, ensuring we have a complete picture of your oral health. We’ll discuss our findings with you in clear, understandable terms, explaining any recommended treatments and presenting you with various options tailored to your specific situation and preferences.

Our commitment to transparency means you’ll never feel rushed or pressured into making decisions. Instead, we’ll provide you with all the information you need to make informed choices about your dental care, including detailed treatment plans and financing options that work within your budget.

We look forward to welcoming you to our dental family and beginning your journey toward optimal oral health in a supportive, professional environment.

What to except from your fist dental visit
Your initial appointment will include a comprehensive periodontal evaluation, where we take the time to understand your concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. During this visit, we will:
  • Conduct a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, and overall oral health.
  • Use advanced diagnostic technology, such as digital imaging, to assess bone and tissue health.
  • Discuss any symptoms you may be experiencing, such as gum recession, bleeding, or sensitivity.
  • Provide a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and long term oral health.
Schedule new Patient Exam
In order to deliver the best care possible, new patients will need to undergo a new patient exam. During the examination, we will assess your gums, teeth, and jaw to determine the most appropriate solution for your needs. If you would like to schedule a new patient exam in our Washington and Bethesda dentist offices, please give as a call.
